Course Information: QCF Level 2 and 3 Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools

About this course

The course is designed to provide professional development for people who work in school. In order to be eligible for level 3 you need to be employed as a teaching assistant but it is possible for voluntary assistants to gain the level 2 QCF.

This would be of great benefit if you are interested in a career as a teaching assistant or wanting career progression as it is a nationally recognised qualification which proves that you have achieved a high level of job competence.

The Level 2 qualification consists of 9 mandatory and 2 optional units. The Level 3 qualification consists of 11 mandatory and 4 optional units. The units are linked closely to the work you are doing in school e.g
1. Support pupils learning activities
