Course Information: TAQAAbout this courseThis course provides the qualification required by Awarding Bodies for anyone involved in assessing or verifying NVQs.
Admission to the course is subject to interview. The course timings are flexible and agreed with the candidates. Course entry requirementsYou must be assessing or internally verifying candidates who are on NVQ programmes. What will I learn?Assessor and Verifier Awards - A1/A2/V1
A1- Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Candidates using a range of methods This is the qualification you need if you are assessing NVQ candidates.
A2 - Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Candidates Performance through observations. This qualifies you to assess NVQ candidates through observation in the workplace.
V1 - Level 4 Certificate in Conducting Internal Quality Assurance of the Assessment Process This qualifies you to carry out Internal Verification. Assessment and accreditationYou will compile a portfolio which will enable you to demonstrate your competence. There are no formal examinations, but you will agree an assessment plan and provide evidence for your assessor to gain the qualification. What should I do next?You can complete additional units from the Learning and Development suite of qualifications.
