Our NEW care and support academy takes place monthly from Multi-Media Exchange, our purpose-built facility centre on Corporation Road, Middlesbrough (opposite Jobcentre Plus).
Our two-week programme includes:
- Introduction to job roles within the care and support sectors (Inc. housing)
- Effective Communication Skills
- Basic Life Support (First Aid)
- Level 1 Food Hygiene
- Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH)
- Manual Handling
- Support with DBS checks
- Safeguarding
- Short work placement or work trial
- Guaranteed interview, interview support and reference
