The aim of this course is to introduce adults to Personal Computers (PCs), laptops and other digital devices found at home, school, college, work and scattered around in day-to-day life.

What will the course involve?

  • Introduction to ‘computers’, including their hardware and software.
  • Staying safe online.
  • Basics of computers, word processing and spreadsheets.
  • Introduction to Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) packages.
  • Introduction to E-mail.
