Our hospitality and catering academy takes place monthly from Multi-Media Exchange, our purpose-built training facility on Corporation Road, Middlesbrough (opposite Jobcentre Plus).
Our one-week programme includes:
- Introduction to job roles in the hospitality and catering sector
- Effective Communication Skills
- Basic Life Support (First Aid)
- Level 1 Food Hygiene
- Safeguarding
- Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH)
- Manual Handling
- Short work placement or work trial
- Guaranteed interview, interview support and reference
