Computers for Beginners – Level 1

Duration of course: 8 Hours (delivered in 4 separate 2-hour slots over 4 weeks)

This course is designed for people that have never used a computer or need a refresher on how to use a computer.  It allows learners to gain the confidence needed to use a computer by learning to use a mouse and keyboard, how to browse the internet safely and more.  It will also introduce online services provided by Middlesbrough Council.  Learners can then progress onto more advanced courses.

The course is FREE to people aged 19+ and who live in Tees valley.  Also, learners will be required to become members of the library.
