Lingfield Choosing Pathways Study Programme 16 -19 or up to 25 with an Education and Health Care Plan (EHCP)
The Study programme is delivered from our Lingfield Learning Centre in Coulby Newham .
The programme is designed to engage with students who for whatever reason are not quite ready for the employment market and can support them to get some work experience/vocational placements and enhance their chances in the employment market by developing their employability skills and English and Math. All this should enhance their potential in the employment market or increase confidence to go into further training. They need to be between 16 – 19 years old and have left secondary school and not be 19 before the 1st August within that calendar year.
We offer the following opportunities;
- Vocational Placements
- Employability Qualification
- Personal and Social Development Qualification
- Maths and English
- All of which are tailored to the individual.
The above programme helps the Local Authority in reducing the NEET (Not in Education, Employment or Training) within Middlesbrough. We also work with all aspects of children’s services to ensure Middlesbrough’s young people have the access they need to develop and progress. The programme is a full academic year starting in September and finishing in July is term time only.
Bursaries are available depending on several different factors, this is explained when enquiries are made. However for bursary to be paid they have to have a bank account.
